A product of the digital generation, Echos are a production duo formed and fuelled over the internet in a flounce of traditional career conventionality. Made up of Portland natives Tal Richards and Lexi Norton, the pair have dropped their self-titled EP and single 'Fiction' is the lead instalment with its spacious introduction and ethereal gothic electronics. Its dramatic and the scale of Norton's voice is impressive with an air of Evanescence's Amy Lee within her pitch, although Echos are miles away in terms of production. Dedicated to the pair's fears and anxieties, 'Fiction' leaves them as open as a book. - SJ
